Il Monticello
is a small, special property of fifteen hectares in the Veneto region,
in the countryside around Vicenza. The hilly part consists of a park of
18000 sq. m with age-old trees and two hundred cherry trees for
spectacular blossom and delicious cherries. From the hill an evocative
landscape of the Veneto countryside can be admired. The place is ideal
for romantic walks or cycle rides (also along the banks of the river
close to the property), total relaxation in the cool wood in the
summer, or at home in the warmness in the winter. The owners live
in the main house and an extremely attractive and two totally
refurbished annexes are available for guests (see “our
holidays”).
The property
is 2 km from the village of Longare (with supermarket and shops for
basic needs), 4 km from the Vicenza Est motorway exit (see “how to reach
us”) and 11 km from Vicenza, also accessible by bike thanks to a
very good cycle lane.
